Dispatch & shipment.

• Our policy is to dispatch where possible on the next day or at most within 5 working days of receipt of order for orders placed before 5.00pm London Time. Special delivery schedules operate over Easter, Christmas and the New Year period.
• We ship using the carrier we consider to provide the best way for the type of product ordered.
• We aim to deliver goods within 1-6 working days in the UK, 3-10 working days elsewhere, of receipt of order. If we or our agents have made no attempt to deliver within those times you are entitled to a full refund on goods, packaging and shipping costs upon return of the goods in an undamaged, unused state to us.
• Loss in transit. In the case that an order we have shipped to you is lost in transit, we will replace or refund the lost items at your preference, provided you cooperate fully with our efforts to claim for the loss from third parties. This may involve you having to complete forms and/or sign statements of non-receipt of goods.

Delivery Costs and Handling

• Deliveries are normally made between 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

• Orders over 99.99 inc VAT are delivered free of charge
• Orders under 99.99 inc VAT are subject to a delivery charge as shown during the checkout process, currently £7.50 inc VAT
• Channel Islands
• All orders are subject to a delivery charge as shown during the checkout process, currently £15.0
• Republic of Ireland
• All orders are subject to a delivery charge as shown during the checkout process, currently £15.0 inc VAT
• All other European Union member countries
• All orders are subject to a delivery charge as shown during the checkout process, currently £35.0 inc VAT
• All other countries
• All orders are subject to a delivery charge which will depend on the size & weight of the order and its value. You should either:
• contact us by email for a delivery quotation before completing the checkout process
• complete the order which will show a £0 (zero) delivery charge. We will contact you by email and tell you what the delivery charge will be. You may either create a new order for the quoted delivery charge only or cancel you order and receive a full refund.
• Orders are dispatched by carrier to your door as stock becomes available. Upon receipt of your order you will be asked to sign for the goods recieved in good condition and to check the contents of your package if you are unable to do so PLEASE SIGN UNCHECKED, if you do not this may affect any claims and warranty.
• Claims for any damages and shortages must be made within 48 hours of receipt of delivery as the time and date of delivery is recorded by our carriers. Claims after 48 hours will be refused.

Returns

• You must inform us in writing within 7 days of receipt of your order that you wish to return the product ordered.
• Valien Lighting Distribution has a 7 day returns policy for all products under the distance selling regulations of 2000
• You must inform us in writing within 7 days of receipt of your order that you wish to return the products ordered. The date of delivery is recorded by our carrier.
• Goods must be returned in the original packaging. The goods should not have been installed or used in any way and be in an undamaged condition
• Costs of returning and insuring goods against loss or damage will be deducted from the refund of the purchase price. Refund will be made within 14 days of return of the goods.
• Claims for damaged goods must be notified within 48 hours of receipt.
